Bata for President

Wow! I look around and see the economy. I see the mish-mash that has been made of our foreign policy. I think (and have for some time), “I can do better than that.” I can.

So vote for me. I am eligible according to the Constitution. I am not retarded (Bush II). I promise not to be unfaithful to my wife and family (I will take advantage of the Oval Office. Who wouldn’t? It would just be with my wife.). I would also not run for a second term. I would accept it if elected, I just wouldn’t run. Instead, I will run the government in order to fix it and not worry about being reelected.

I will announce my pick for Vice-President soon.

Just remember to write me in.

I really thought this would happen more

I really thought I would stay atop of this more. Especially with my current phone. I guess not.

Familial updates:

Lani lost her voice last week and had three nights of parent-teacher conferences. Crazy. Not much else has happened that I know of. We don’t’ see each other a whole lot now that school is in full swing.

Parker is in full-on gymnastics, soccer, Sage, piano and whatever else mode. For Sage, he is studying China. We are having to work on how to research. They tell them to go gather facts without telling them how. Otherwise, he is doing well.

Carmen is, well, Carmen. No school. Play all day. Wants everything she sees on television. You know: the good life.

Me? Band. Kids. Kids activities. I am getting near to deciding on something. I will write about once I decide on a proper plan for it.

Otherwise, not much else is happening here in KC for us. We have hit the Renaissance Festival. We are actually going to their Halloween Vampire Feast thing on October 25th.

Time for Heroes now.

Let the Fun Begin

It has begun. I am currently at the first soccer game of the season. Last night we had the first gymnastics team practice after two weeks off. My football games for the band start next week. After school rehearsals and activities started this week. Let the fun begin!

Today, we are going to the Renaissance Festival with a friend of ours from college (Truman State). Along with Beth & Jim, we will enjoy the festivities in Bonner Springs, KS, partake of beer, eat turkey legs, and various and sundry of other items.

I will have more later with pics of the kids and friends. Carmen has a cute fairy outfit for today.

Geisler Farms and its Maze

Here is the picture of what the maze looks like.

It is at Geisler Farms near Des Moines. If you get a chance, I suggest you go. It was a blast. There were 10 of us and we split into 3 groups each taking a different entrance.

Go, Damnit! Stop reading this and just go.
