My Favorite Apps

I got the iPhone planning on it being a useful tool.  I didn’t realize how useful and anti-time management it would be.  I also planned on not spending ANY money on apps.  While I haven’t bought many, I have gotten some as I have found them more useful than their free versions.  My favorites?

I love my new toy

I got one of the cheap iPhones a couple of days ago. I am enjoying it immensely. I am now able to blog from it.

I also love the Shazam app. It recognizes songs just by listening to them. I have no idea how it works. More az I am sitting around bored. Or not.

Wow. A big jump for my school.

Every year, Newsweek lists the top 1500 high schools in the country based on AP, IB, and Cambridge tests.  My school usually makes it onto the list, but this year we had a huge jump.

While it isn’t the most definitive of measurements of what makes a school good, it is still cool.

John Williams is the Man

My sister-in-law, Annette, posted this on her Facebook.  Watch and enjoy.

John Williams is the man.

My New Grill

I had to get a new grill since when I went to open the lid on my old one yesterday, the entire top part of the grill attempted to escape its moorings.  This one was purchased at Lowes.  Click on it to see what was cooked for its first use.
